We have a new warning about a fake email that's making the rounds. Speaking of getting around, we have small-sized phone books that are great for vehicles. Warning – Scams Related To Death Of Osama Bin Laden As usual, cyber scammers are using a big news event to grab Internet users' attention and get them to click on malware. No official videos or photos of bin Laden's body have been released but that hasn't stopped millions of people from searching for them online. And cyber criminals are doing their best to scam those millions of searchers—often redirecting them to webpages where they could unknowingly download malicious software.
Internet security organizations are warning of scams including the following:

Please do not ever provide personal information via email, and always call us with any questions. Hartelco always will put our phone number in the body of any "emergency" type email that we might send. Please just hit the "delete" key whenever you see emails asking for personal information! Below is the text of the FAKE email from spammers! Dear Hartelco Account User HTK4S a virus was detected in Hartelco Webmail server, and hartel.net all webmail accounts must be updated immediately to prevent damage to the webmail hartel.net. Confirm Your E-mail Account Identity Copyright C2011 Hartelco. 2011 All rights reserved. Again, never reply to any email asking for personal information. Recently you may have heard that some cable TV systems in Nebraska will not be carrying the Big Ten Network this fall. While that may be true, this does NOT affect Hartelco TV. Rest assured that we will have the Big Ten Network and carry all the Huskers games that we can this fall. If you have Hartelco Cable TV and can't currently get the Big Ten Network on Channel 20, please reprogram your TV via your remote control. Answer: You do have control of your tags on Facebook; only friends can tag you in photos and you can be notified when a friend tags you by selecting your personal preferences using the "Notifications" tab on the Account Settings page. To remove a tag on Facebook, simply view the photo and click the "remove tag" link next to your name. The photo will no longer be linked to your profile.
